Their lips lingered for a moment before slowly parting, both of them breathing heavily, hearts racing faster than ever.
Avnika’s cheeks glowed red as she quickly pulled back a little, her eyes darting anywhere but his. Shivansh, still smiling like he’d just won the world, kept staring at her.
“Baby doll…” he whispered with a grin, “I can’t believe you actually said yes.”
“D-don’t say it like that,” she stammered, hiding her face with her palms. “It’s so embarrassing…”
Shivansh gently pulled her hands away, his smirk widening. “Embarrassing? For me it’s the best gift ever. But for you…” He leaned closer, teasing, “your blush is saying everything.”
Avnika’s eyes widened and she quickly pushed him back a little. “Shiv! Stop teasing me!”
He chuckled, holding his hands up in mock surrender. “Okay, okay… but admit it—you liked it too.”
Her lips pressed together, clearly struggling to deny it. Finally, she mumbled under her breath, “M-maybe…” and looked away shyly.
Shivansh’s jaw dropped in dramatic fashion. “Ohhh my god! My shy baby doll just confessed!” He clutched his chest like he was about to faint.
Avnika threw a pillow at him in panic. “Ufff! You’re impossible! Forget it ever happened.”
But as she turned her face away, trying to hide her smile, Shivansh caught her wrist and whispered softly, “Even if you forget… I never will.”
Both fell into silence then—awkward, blushing, their hearts still thumping from the kiss.
………………………………………..
Ruhanika entered the room with a tray of tea, but her steps faltered when she saw Rudraksh standing shirtless near the window, the moonlight tracing sharp lines across his shoulders and chest. He was rubbing the back of his neck, still aching from the night spent on the couch.
“Rudra…” she called softly.
He turned, his eyes darkening instantly when they landed on her. The simple sight of her—in that soft pastel saree, her hair loose, her bangles tinkling—was enough to make his heart race.
She placed the tray on the table, moving closer. “You’re still in pain, aren’t you?”
Rudraksh gave a faint smirk. “Not anymore. Pain disappears the moment I see you.”
Ruhanika rolled her eyes but couldn’t stop the heat rising to her cheeks. “Aap bhi naa.”
“yahh me,” he said, stepping closer until she had to tilt her head up to meet his gaze. His voice dropped lower, huskier. “But only for you, Ruhanika.”
Her breath caught in her throat as his hand slowly reached out, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. His fingertips lingered against her cheek, setting her skin on fire.
“You don’t know,” Rudraksh murmured, “how much I missed this… holding you close. Do you even realize what you do to me?”
Ruhanika’s lips parted, her heart pounding so loud she thought he could hear it. “Rudra…” she whispered, almost pleading.
He didn’t wait. In one smooth motion, he pulled her against his chest, caging her in his arms. She gasped, her palms pressed flat against his bare skin, feeling his heartbeat hammering just as wildly as hers.
“I can’t hold back anymore,” he confessed against her ear, his breath warm, his voice trembling with intensity. “I crave you, Ruhanika. Every second, every moment… it’s only you.”
Before she could reply, his lips found hers. The kiss wasn’t soft—it was desperate, passionate, hungry. Ruhanika’s fingers gripped his shoulders tightly as if anchoring herself, while Rudraksh’s hands roamed to her waist, pulling her impossibly closer.
Her knees weakened, but he held her firmly, deepening the kiss until both were breathless. When they finally broke apart, foreheads pressed together, Rudraksh whispered hoarsely, “You’re mine. Only mine. And I’ll never let you go.”
Ruhanika’s eyes shone with tears of love as she whispered back, “Always yours, Rudra. Always.”
And in that moment, under the moonlight, their world narrowed down to just the two of them—hearts beating as one.
Rudraksh’s kiss left Ruhanika breathless, her lips trembling as he pulled back only slightly, his eyes burning into hers. His thumb stroked her cheek slowly, reverently, as if she was something too precious to be real.
“You have no idea,” he whispered, his voice husky, “how hard it is to stay away from you. Every second without you feels like torture.”
Ruhanika’s hands slid up to cup his face, her touch gentle but desperate. “Then don’t stay away,” she breathed, her voice shaky but full of longing. “Because I can’t either, Rudra… I can’t live without you.”
That was all he needed.
With a low growl of passion, he scooped her into his arms, lifting her off the ground as if she weighed nothing. She gasped, her arms flying around his neck, and he carried her to the bed with slow, deliberate steps, never breaking eye contact.
Placing her down gently, Rudraksh leaned over her, his body hovering close but not yet touching, teasing her with the heat of his presence. His lips brushed her forehead, then her cheek, trailing down to her neck where he lingered, tasting her skin.
Ruhanika shivered, her fingers curling into his hair, pulling him closer as her breath quickened. “Rudra…” she whispered, her voice breaking with desire and love.
He groaned against her skin, kissing her collarbone before pulling back just enough to meet her eyes again. His gaze softened, filled with raw emotion. “Tell me you’re mine… say it again.”
Her lips curved into a trembling smile, her eyes glistening. “I’m yours. Only yours. Forever.”
That was it. His restraint shattered. He lowered himself fully against her, their bodies molding perfectly together, his lips capturing hers once more in a kiss so deep, so consuming, it felt like the entire world melted away.
Her hands roamed over his back while his traced the outline of her waist, her curves, memorizing every part of her. The room filled with their gasps, their whispers of love, the unspoken promises sealed in every touch, every kiss.
Time lost meaning as they gave in to the pull of their hearts—two souls, two bodies, finally uniting in the purest intensity of love.
When at last they lay tangled together beneath the sheets, Rudraksh kissed the crown of her head, whispering softly, “No more punishments, no more distances. You’re my life, Ruhanika.”
She snuggled closer against his chest, her eyes closing in contentment. “And you’re mine. My Rudra. Always.”
And with that, they drifted into sleep—hearts at peace, bound together more than ever.
Morning sunlight filtered gently through the curtains as Ruhanika slowly stirred awake. Her hair was scattered across the pillow, and her face still carried traces of sleep. Just then, the door creaked open—Rudraksh stepped inside, balancing a tray in his hands.
“Good morning, sleepyhead,” he said softly, his voice teasing yet filled with warmth.
Ruhanika rubbed her eyes and blinked at him in surprise. “Rudra… you? With a tray? Don’t tell me you cooked…”
He smirked, placing the tray on the bedside table. “Relax, jaan. I didn’t cook. I just… supervised. But yes, this is your breakfast.”
He carefully placed the tray on her lap—toast, fruit, and a steaming cup of coffee. Ruhanika’s eyes softened, but she tried to act annoyed. “What’s this sudden sweetness for? Did you do something wrong?”
Rudraksh leaned closer, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face. “Maybe I’m guilty… guilty of loving you too much.”
Her cheeks flushed instantly. “Rudra…” she whispered.
He chuckled, picking up the coffee cup and holding it near her lips. “Come on, baby doll. One sip for me.”
She hesitated, then took a small sip, her eyes locked with his the whole time. The silence between them felt thick, charged, intimate.
“You know,” Rudraksh murmured, his fingers gently brushing against hers, “seeing you like this—messy hair, sleepy eyes, wrapped in my care—this is the most beautiful sight of my life.”
Ruhanika’s heart fluttered, her lips curving into a shy smile. “You’ll make me fall for you all over again.”
“That’s the plan,” he whispered, kissing her forehead before sitting beside her, watching her eat like she was his
most treasured possession.
Ruhanika stretched lazily in bed, rubbing her eyes as morning light touched her face. She froze when she glanced down—she wasn’t in her night dress anymore but in Rudraksh’s oversized T-shirt, hanging loosely on her frame.
She turned to look at him, still half-asleep but leaning against the headboard with a smirk tugging at his lips.
“Rudra… yeh… yeh T-shirt? Maine kab pehni?” she asked, frowning in confusion.
Rudraksh leaned closer, his tone low and teasing. “Tumne nahi pehni, jaan. Maine pehnai.”
Her eyes widened. “What?! While I was sleeping?”
He nodded shamelessly, brushing a strand of her hair aside. “Haan… meri doll ko neend mein thand lag rahi thi. Aur waise bhi, tum meri T-shirt mein zyada cute… aur zyada meri lagti ho.”
Her cheeks flushed pink, and she grabbed the blanket to hide her face. “Rudraaa, tum pagal ho… koi aise karta hai kya?”
Rudraksh smirked, tugging the blanket down gently. “Main karta hoon. Aur ek baat yaad rakhna… abse tumhe sulaane ka haq bhi sirf mera hai, jagane ka haq bhi… aur kapde pehnane ka bhi.”
Ruhanika gasped at his boldness, her heart racing, while Rudraksh’s eyes gleamed with possessive affection.
Ruhanika pushed weakly at his chest, still hiding her face. “Okay, enough Rudra… now take off that T-shirt. It’s mine.”
Rudraksh raised a brow, pretending to think. “Yours? Last I checked, I bought it. And the moment you wore it… it became ours. So tell me, why should I take it off?”
She glared at him, though her blush betrayed her. “Because… because it looks better on me.”
That wicked grin curved on his lips. “Hmm… true. But you’ll have to prove it.”
Ruhanika’s eyes widened. “Prove it? How?”
Rudraksh leaned in so close she could feel his breath tickling her lips. His voice dropped, husky and teasing. “Simple. Make me take it off.”
Her heart skipped a beat, her fingers curling into the bedsheet. “Rudra…” she whispered, flustered, not sure whether to be angry or to melt in his arms.
He chuckled low, brushing a soft kiss against her forehead. “Until then, baby doll, this shirt stays with me. Every second it reminds me of you… and every second, I’ll keep torturing you with it.”
She buried her face in his neck, half embarrassed, half secretly thrilled, while Rudraksh wrapped her tighter in his arms, victorious.
Ruhanika’s breath grew shallow as Rudraksh’s hands moved slowly, kneading away the tension from her calves. Every press of his thumb sent shivers up her spine, and she had to bite her lip to stop the little gasp from escaping.
“Rudra… stop, it’s—it’s enough…” she whispered, her face flushed.
But his smirk deepened, his voice a low growl. “No, baby doll. You don’t get to decide that. I’ll stop when I feel like you’re fully relaxed.”
His fingers trailed up her leg, massaging just above her knee now. Ruhanika’s heart hammered, her hands clutching the sheets tightly.
“See?” he murmured, his lips brushing against her skin in a teasing kiss. “Your body listens to me before your words do.”
Her cheeks burned crimson. “Rudra…” she breathed, half warning, half surrender.
He leaned forward, placing another kiss, slower this time, lingering just long enough to make her shiver. His eyes lifted to hers, dark and intense. “Every pain of yours, every sigh, every shiver—it all belongs to me. And I won’t stop until you forget the world… and remember only me.”
Ruhanika’s resistance melted, her lips parting as her fingers reached up to clutch his shoulder. “You’re impossible…”
Rudraksh chuckled low, pressing one final kiss higher up her thigh before pulling her into his arms. “Im
possible to resist,” he whispered against her lips, claiming her mouth in a kiss that was soft at first, then deepened with all the intensity he had been holding back.
