β¨ RUHANIKA'S POV β¨
I sat alone in my room, staring at the floor.
I had only two choices.
Either get married...
Or run away.
And I chose to run away.
My eyes landed on the large window.
Without wasting another second, I gathered my lehenga and carefully climbed out. My room was on the second floor, and after a lot of struggle, I managed to jump onto the balcony below.
My heart pounded wildly.
Without giving myself time to think, I closed my eyes.
"Hey Krishna Ji, sambhal lena," I prayed softly.
And jumped.
Instead of crashing onto the ground, I felt strong arms catch me.
My eyes immediately squeezed shut in fear.
Then a familiar voice reached my ears.
"Kya ye koi nayi bridal entry hai?"
I slowly opened my eyes.
No...
It couldn't be.
It was him.
Rudraksh.
A smirk appeared on his face.
"Waise koshish achhi thi, par timing galat thi, Mrs. To Be Raizada."
I groaned internally.
"Lo, ise kehte hain aasman se gire, khajoor pe latke," I whispered.
"Excuse me? Khajoor kise kaha tumne?" he asked suspiciously.
"Leave me!" I screamed.
The next secondβ
Thud!
"Aahhh!"
I landed on the floor.
"Mummy! Isne mujhe sach mein gira diya," I muttered painfully.
"Don't worry, jaan. Ye to abhi shuruaat hai."
His voice was cold.
Tears gathered in my eyes.
"Please hume jaane dijiye. Hume ye shaadi nahi karni."
"Shut up!"
He grabbed my wrist tightly and dragged me towards the mandap.
Everyone stared at us in shock.
"Pandit Ji, mantras shuru kijiye. Abhi shaadi hogi."
Without waiting for anyone's response, he sat beside me.
The wedding rituals began.

β¨ RUDRAKSH'S POV β¨
As soon as we reached the Suryavanshi Mansion, I entered the house without any interest in the celebrations.
Shiva came and sat beside me.
"Bhai, if you don't want to marry her, just tell me. We can leave right now."
I looked at him seriously.
"Do you really think Rudraksh Singh Raizada would run away from his own wedding?"
Shiva sighed.
"Think again, Bhai. It's your entire life."
"No, Shiva. I've already made my decision."
Before he could say anything, Purvi and Aarvi joined us.
"Bhaiii, I'm getting bored. Please finish this drama quickly," Purvi complained.
"I agree!" Aarvi pouted.
I shook my head.
"Come here."
They immediately sat beside us.
Aarvi suddenly spoke.
"You know, Bhai? Two days ago a guy kept staring at me in college."
"Hmm?" Shiva raised an eyebrow.
"But today I found out that he died in a car accident."
Shiva smirked and slowly looked at me.
Purvi followed his gaze.
"Don't tell me this was your doing."
I shrugged.
"It was his mistake. I simply punished him."
Both girls immediately went silent.
Just then my phone rang.
"Excuse me. I'll be back."
I walked outside and answered the call.
After ending it, my eyes moved towards the balcony.
A girl stood there.
No.
Not a girl.
My soon-to-be wife.
A frown appeared on my face.
What was she doing?
Then suddenlyβ
She climbed over the railing.
My eyes widened.
One second later, I heard her whisper,
"Hey Krishna Ji, sambhal lena."
And she jumped...
"Tumhare Krishna bhi chahte hain ki tum ye shaadi karo, Soon-To-Be Wife," Rudraksh smirked and caught her in his arms before she could hit the ground.
Without giving her a chance to escape again, he carried her straight towards the mandap.

β¨ AUTHOR'S POV β¨
"No! I won't marry you! Please let me go!" Ruhanika screamed.
"Kya bakwaas kar rahi ho tum? Seedha mandap mein baitho," Ananya snapped.
"Nahi! Please hamse shaadi mat kijiye. Hume jaane dijiye."
Rudraksh leaned closer and whispered in her ear,
"If you don't marry me, I will kill your entire family."
Ruhanika's eyes filled with tears.
"Aapko jise marna hai maar dijiye, par please hume jaane dijiye."
The next second, Rudraksh pulled out his gun.
BANG!
A gunshot echoed through the mansion.
One of the guards fell lifeless to the floor.
Seeing the horrifying scene, Ruhanika's eyes widened in fear.
Everything around her started spinning.
And she fainted.
"Pandit Ji, mantras shuru kijiye," Rudraksh ordered coldly.
The priest hesitated but eventually obeyed.
Rudraksh picked the unconscious Ruhanika in his arms and completed the wedding rituals.
He tied the mangalsutra around her neck.
Filled her hairline with sindoor.
And completed the seven vows.
Finally, the priest announced,
"From today, you are husband and wife."

A few minutes later...
Sunidhi sprinkled water on Ruhanika's face.
Slowly, she opened her eyes.
The first thing she saw was Sunidhi.
Her face immediately brightened.
"Chachi Sa! Hamari shaadi ruk gayi na? Ab hum uss vardaanush se shaadi nahi karenge aur yahan se bhaag jayenge!"
Everyone stared at her.
Sunidhi looked away awkwardly.
"Sorry beta... par ab aap uss varmaanush ki patni ban chuki hain."
Shiva couldn't stop himself from laughing.
Rudraksh glared at him.
Ruhanika leaned closer to Sunidhi and whispered,
"Hum puri zindagi iss khadoos ke saath kaise rahenge?"
Unfortunately for her...
Rudraksh heard every word.
"Shut up and go sit in the car."
His cold voice instantly frightened her.
She immediately closed her mouth.

β¨ VIDAI β¨
"It's time for the farewell," Amravati announced.
Ananya hugged Ruhanika dramatically.
"I'll miss you, my child."
Fake tears filled her eyes.
Ruhanika silently touched Veer Pratap's feet.
He blessed her without saying much.
Then she hugged Vishambhar and Sunidhi.
"Take care of yourself, beta," Vishambhar said emotionally.
Ruhanika nodded.
Yug hugged her gently.
"If you ever need anything, remember that I'm your brother."
Kavya smiled through her tears.
Ruhanika gave them a weak smile.
Soon, she was seated inside Rudraksh's car.
The entire drive remained silent.
Suddenlyβ
"Kya main gaana baja sakti hoon?"
Rudraksh looked at her as if she had lost her mind.
Yahan iski zindagi ki bajne wali hai aur ise music sunna hai.
"No."
He focused on the road again.
"Khadus," Ruhanika muttered under her breath.

When they reached the Raizada Mansion, Ruhanika's eyes widened.
"Wow! Kitna bada ghar hai!"
Rudraksh looked at her blankly.
"Get out of my car."
"Aap nahi aa rahe?"
"Just. Get. Out."
Without arguing further, she stepped outside.
The moment her foot touched the ground, her ankle twisted.
"Aahhh! Bhagwan Ji!"
A laugh echoed nearby.
Looking up, she saw a handsome young man standing there.
"Didn't your parents teach you manners?" she complained. "Agar koi gir jaye to usse uthate hain, haste nahi."
The boy burst out laughing.
"Sorry, Bhabhi. But you looked really funny."
He extended his hand.
"Need help?"
"No thanks. It's just a minor injury. I can handle it."
The boy smiled.
Interesting.
Very interesting.
Just then Rudraksh appeared.
"Bhai, Mom is calling you for the rituals."
"Let's go."
Rudraksh turned and walked away.
"But Bhai... Bhabhi?"
Rudraksh glanced back once.
"She can handle herself."
And left.
Shiva looked at Ruhanika sympathetically.

At the main entrance, the entire Raizada family stood waiting.
Maina held an aarti thali in her hands.
After completing the aarti, she spoke coldly,
"Kick the rice pot, step into the kumkum plate, and enter the house."
Ruhanika nodded.
The moment she stepped into the plateβ
"Aahhh!"
A sharp pain shot through her foot.
Tears immediately gathered in her eyes.
"Hamare pair mein kuch chubh raha hai..."
Shiva frowned in concern.
"What happened?"
"Just shut up and complete the rituals," Ambala snapped angrily.
Ruhanika bit her lip and continued.
With every step, tiny pieces of glass dug deeper into her feet.
Blood slowly stained the floor behind her.
Yet nobody stopped her.
Nobody cared.

Meanwhile...
"I have some work."
Without waiting for a response, Rudraksh left the mansion.
Khanna drove him towards a secluded mansion hidden deep inside the forest.
The place was dark and silent.
Rudraksh walked inside and stopped in front of a large portrait.
His eyes softened.
"Today, I married her for you."
Pain flashed across his face.
"I promise she will pay for everything she did."
He clenched his fists.
"She deserves every bit of pain coming her way."
His eyes filled with tears and hatred.
Taking a bottle of wine, he poured himself a drink.
"I swear, Manika Suryavanshi..."
His voice echoed through the empty room.
"I will destroy you."
"And when you beg for death..."
A cruel smile appeared on his face.
"I still won't let you die."
